The frequency that I have to scream at the people who drive 45 down our street because they’re mad they’ve been circling the block for an hour trying to find a street spot is way too high.

Our living room/dining room is one big room and it’s the only area I decorate. It’s mostly the tree / mantle / one other shelf area. The clutter overwhelm is real though and part of what makes the procrastination so bad is needing to clean ~*everything*~ before starting.

Also once I got going I might have over committed to putting every single ornament on there. This is not a prerequisite for achieving cozy.

It took me three weekends 🫠
One to get the box upstairs
One to get the tree out of the box and assembled
One to put the ornaments on. And halfway through that effort I was ready to call
It.
Now that it’s done though it’s nice and cozy 🥹
