We lived at that intersection for 5 years and I swear there was some version of a car crash there monthly. Fucking awful.

The two correct ways to cook a marshmallow over a fire are slowly over coals only until it turns the same color as the graham cracker or immediate death by flames roasted charred blackened with the husk removed. No middle ground.

Okay, there is one secret method and that’s against a patio heater.

Our living room/dining room is one big room and it’s the only area I decorate. It’s mostly the tree / mantle / one other shelf area. The clutter overwhelm is real though and part of what makes the procrastination so bad is needing to clean ~*everything*~ before starting.

It took me three weekends 🫠
One to get the box upstairs
One to get the tree out of the box and assembled
One to put the ornaments on. And halfway through that effort I was ready to call
It.
Now that it’s done though it’s nice and cozy 🥹

Touring the daycare and hearing “the Christmas pageant is the most Christian thing we do.”

Fast forward to them casting your child as Jesus.
