Poland. I want to have a strong, democratic EU. Preferably in the form of a federation with a strong army, with the ban on pro-fascist parties. I look at people and it seems impossible.

🔥 This time, the strike on empty ships demonstrated that even the sale of Russian oil after transshipment and transportation is no guarantee of safety.

What is a shadow fleet? The “Russian shadow fleet” is a term that emerged in the context of the occupier's invasion of Ukraine. However, the term itself is

🇺🇦 The Armed Forces of Ukraine will not withdraw from Donbas, even if a corresponding order is received, - as NBC News writes, this was stated by Ukrainian soldiers stationed in this direction.

Ukrainian military sees Trump peace plan as capitulation, not peace they seek.

If you ever decide to cancel your support on Patreon,
please don’t do it in the morning,
right after another attack on Kyiv.

Do it later in the day. Or the next one.
Just check the news before you click

Somehow, it hurts a lot.
Thank you.

I can’t speak for others,
but the current situation in Ukraine (severe attacks, almost no power)
won’t break me or make me accept
any ridiculous ‘peace’ (capitulation) deal.

Yes, I’m not a decision-maker.
Just saying.

Europeans had 20 years to learn from the humiliation of Iraq & Afghanistan. They had time to develop a strong united foreign policy.

But as usual here, inertia won the day. This week it feels Europe is even more irrelevant on the world stage than in 2003.

A 🇺🇸dependent continent will never be free.
To put it mildly, this is not Europe's finest hour.

The response to the US war on Iran shows absolutely no lessons have been learned from the Iraq experience 20 years ago. Starmer, Merz, VDL, Rutte cheer. Macron & others just offer muted worry.

When will this continent stop being so pathetic?

This is the howling of Russia and its vassals. Every normal person must answer only one question: If in the 1930s known fascists and Nazis had been eliminated, even brutally and against the law, would it have been reprehensible? The situation is the same now - we must act.

This sounds logical and should be done. EU, by allowing hostile activity on its territory, sends a signal that it is weak and does not deter Russia. This intensifies the chaos and sends a very bad signal and it can practically encourage deeper aggression.
OPINION: The legal tools to address internal opposition from Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán exist. Europe just needs to use them, and meet the moment with courage.

Will countries that have brought Europe to the brink of the abyss through years of neglect and carelessness now question the actions of politicians who have been fighting for Europe the most for a long time - this is pathetic, strange, harmful and stupid.

Good piece, tho I'd argue Europe shouldn't rule out sending forces to Ukraine even without a US backstop. It could end up in a fiasco (though Europe shdn't underestimate its own strength), but if the Ukrainians can't prevent Ru victory on their own, that would be an even bigger horror for Europe.

Because if Germany does not defend Poland and Ukraine, then Germany will soon have millions of Ukrainian and Polish meat on its border pushed by the Russians with the help of which the Russians will wipe out Germany in an extremely cruel way. And then Taurus will not help, but maybe it still is now

Hungary is pursuing a harmful policy, blackmailing the entire EU, acting in favor of Russia, and the EU is threatening Hungary that it will do something only next time. And so on and so forth. How does the EU intend to defend itself against Russia if it cannot even deal with its agent?
Mr. Orbán is not protecting the interests of Europeans and their future grandchildren.

Analyzing the facts, it can be clearly seen that Mr. Orbán, using the topic of Ukraine, is protecting Russian interests in Europe by helping Russian officials and oligarchs to circumvent European sanctions.

Maybe it's good that the US is withdrawing from exercises in Europe, because the last time Russia conducted exercises, it smoothly led to war. The US is now modeling itself on Russia, so maybe it's better for the US to exercise alone somewhere in the middle of the ocean.
