Adding arms forced me to redesign not only the animations, but a huge part of my game's weapon code too. On the upside it'll be a lot easier to add new weapons going forward.

Any object small enough to pick up can be bagged and sold, whether it's junk or not. You can even sell your camera if you think it's worth losing your light source and UI.
