You are entitled to your own opinion, NOT your own facts.

Misinformation is the greatest threat we face: it allows the powerful to manipulate the gullible into doing their bidding.
Turns out there are a lot of gullible people.
The rise of UKIP mirrors deprivation within communities. Deprivation mirrors low educational attainment. Low educational attainment leads to a tendency to vote for right-wing ideology.
The poverty caused by Brexit, the banking crash and austerity makes the rise of the right much more likely. ⭕️

The same vacant expression which tells you he’s too dim to understand how dim he is, but also the same smirk, which tells you he’s knows being dim won’t matter because daddy’s rich.

If you’re trying to find words to adequately describe the excrescence that is Trump, here’s some inspiration…

How telling that the director of information at Russia’s ministry of foreign affairs stepped in to criticise Time’s image choice.

“Only sick people, people obsessed with malice and hatred –perhaps even perverts – could have chosen such a photo”, Maria Zakharova wrote on Telegram.

So is he now recruiting the armed services to keep him in power? And how could a Democrat president ever trust these people after this?

Talking of dodgy rich people, $100 million wired to the US president’s crypto account from a Middle Eastern country in return for agreeing $200 billion in commercial deals? Surely not? It would be all over the news, wouldn’t it?

Propaganda. Once you control the information, you control everything.

This is so shaming.
We have excluded Prince Andrew from public life, sacked Mandelson and seized the assets of Russian leaders, yet here we are, giving an *unprecedented* SECOND state visit, with all the honours, to Epstein’s long-time friend and Putin’s dependable idiot. No excuse.

Ending the longstanding program is expected to remove hundreds of millions of dollars that go to countries that border Russia.
Now, why would he do that?

The sudden roar of the burners and the near hysterical barking of the dog. Oh good, it’s another 6.30am wake up call from the airborne coach parties. Bleh.

Back in the 1980s, Thatcher and Reagan enthusiastically promoted partisanship in the media whilst at the same time cutting funding for public service broadcasting. The continuation of this, plus a failure to regulate the Internet, has handed total power to propagandists. This needs correcting.

So many presidents left their mark on the Rose Garden over the years.
Presumably there will soon be a stained old sofa and possibly a broken fridge out there.
