Thank you. ^_^ And go you. I completed NaNoWriMo 2 yrs ago, but November is such a challenging month!

Yes! I can’t wait for the Bride sequel. 😍 I confess, I haven’t gotten past chapter 2 in Quicksilver. I have to finish for my book club meeting, but I’m also hosting JaNoWriMo in my group, so every spare moment is going to hitting that 50K goal. 😅

Oh good. I’m glad you have someone to work with. And I hear you about the self-funding. I’m in the same boat on the author side of the biz. Pacing and plot holes are so much fun!!! (I mean fixing them. 🤣) It’s like looking at a puzzle and making sure all the pieces line up. ^_^

Nice line of defense you’ve got there.

That’s awesome! 😎

Three chapters away? Wow. Congrats! I remember that feeling. I’m 25 chapters away now. 😅

Do you have an editor lined up? (It’s okay if it’s not me. lol.) Just want to make sure you’re in good hands. Let me know if you have any questions, like what’s the difference between dev and line edits. ☺️

Sooo much fun! I just started Quicksilver, and last month I read Bride. I loved the banter and sarcasm. 😍

Is your wife your ideal reader? Is she passionate about your genre?

Was she reading only the first draft, which is mostly telling and exploring your ideas to capture them on the page for editing later?

That was my problem for almost 20 years, and when I finally gave myself permission to write crap and have fun and think of my first draft as a playground, the words flew onto the page. I’ve published 3 books now, and they’re definitely not crap. ^_^

🤣🤣🤣 I’m having this same debate right now.

Oh man! Congrats on getting it to your editor! Enjoy the break (even if you’re toiling away on the cover and blurb now). ^_^

That’s awesome!!! I’m an indie author. I write fantasy romance / romantasy. How about you?

Also, you can do this, whether you choose the trad or indie route. You can set yourself up for success. ♥️
