It seems as if most Americans have faith in their constitutional guardrails. This is naive given a captive Supreme Court, compliant Congress and Senate, and ongoing destruction of the civil service. Mid-terms might happen. 2028 is a long way off and far from guaranteed at this stage.

It is worth looking up the international legal treaties America has not signed on to. The list reveals how strong American exceptionalism is as a guiding philosophy for them. They pick when they will comply with international laws and bugger the rest of us. This is why Netanyahu can visit the US.

In answer to question 1. The Albanese Labor government has lost all courage and has no willingness to take advantage of the times and set a new course for Australia. They are a bunch of spineless, steady as she goes centrists, scared to upset anyone. Visionless, directionless, and hopeless.

Trump has quickly gone from demented loon to dangerous despot. Not unexpected, but America still seems to be happily running towards his dystopian future for the country. If the military won't stand up, don't expect anyone else to. After all, they have even more guns than anyone else.

It really is puzzling. By and large, the Zionist vote sits in seats that are unlikely to ever be held by Labor. Why is Albanese pandering to them? The pro-Palestine vote, on the other hand, is one he needs to keep in favour with but he does little of real practical value to address their concerns.

Never really the envy of the world, and never will be. Feared by some, hated by some, tolerated by some, and maybe respected by some, but not envied. Mind you, I was always envious of the PX and commissary system when I served alongside my US counterparts. Cheap Levi's and Weber BBQs!

No. He says "no fat generals". A fundamental tenet of leadership is to apply the same standards to oneself as expected of one's subordinates. His hypocrisy and lack of respect for these people is an absolute moral failing on his part. He should be called out for it.

Leave out criminal and child molester if it helps. The hypocrisy absolutely makes it matter. These are people who have taken an oath to defend him and the American nation, without fear or favour. He and Hegseth show them no respect with this ruling or any other they have made.

It is an objective truth that Trump is fat/obese/overweight/exceeds a healthy weight range. I applied no other attribute to him in relation to that fact. I did not say he was a lesser human or anything else as a result of his physical shape. If the problem is the word 'fat' swap it out for obese.

For everyones' benefit, please clearly outline how my description of Trump is fat shaming. Is it also child molester shaming and criminal shaming? I used the adjective in a totally objective manner and in the context of its use in the subject article. +
