Interesting. I tend to be the opposite since I think the Ableton's compressors are easier to understand but maybe me not having a good grasp of compression when I was using FL was a contributing factor to that

Also, even though I think Ableton has some of the best compressor options available there might be a tendency from it's users to compress sounds when it's not really necessary and flatten mixes too much.

I wonder how much Ableton's plug-ins are at fault for the stiffness thing. From my personal experience the EQ doesn't have a lot of curve shapes and is sometimes a bit too heavy for its own good and I have to go out of my way to not cut too harshly. Abletons reverb is also just pretty dry.

Idk, weird track. Might vip at some point but it would probably be more of a half remix half original song and have a different title (though I'm not sure I will because it was for a contest)

The lead and reverse ambience over the basses at the end sound pretty awesome and totally something I might want to replicate. The glitchy drops I made are interesting but not really up my alley. Mix is pretty buns and stiff at times with sort of unengaging pacing.
