Very contemporary. The first mention is Pliny the Elder who explained it as a beast. Indus valley it's tied to divinity and power. Medieval Europe it's tied to purity, grace and Christlike sacrifice. Chinese Qilin and Japanese Kirin are very similar. Arabian Karkadann. Awesome legend to study.

I remember seeing this at the Check point Charlie museum in Berlin, Germany. I'm sure if they had AI video in the 80's it would have been animated.

Thanks Ope I was just thinking I haven't watched a paranormal doc in a long time. I've been having luck with EVP's in my hallway going downstairs. I put the playback on one half speed. I don't get scared at all. It's nice knowing ghosts are around.

It's a Russian oligarchy American style. It's no bid with no competition that's not capitalism. That's behind door deals. It marks the end of Democracy. Musk is going to get many no bid contacts and no reason to make anything and when asked he will say it's coming next year.

Trump supporters are getting mad about the economy and prices our only hope is to get enough of a majority in 26 to impeach Trump and restore law and order. Shove egg prices in the Trump supporters face every chance you get. Inflation is going up. Let them know. Then tell Dems to tax the rich.

50's till about the 90's was the golden age for me. It's sad to look at the book shelf at Walmart and see no Science Fiction except Star Wars. Where did all the great Science Fiction writers go?

Exactly!! I've been saying this for years. American EV's are expensive and they are subsidized. If we allowed Chinese EV's into America and built some more nuclear power plants we could be all electric and green in a few years on the cheap with dependable power. Use SMR and sand batteries.
