I can only imagine the reason that the official Ayr United website is still advertising hospitality packages for the play off semi final on Tuesday night is due some sort of cyber attack. tickets.ayrunitedtickets.co.uk/event/playof...

St Patrick’s Day Ball last night at the Sheraton in Edinburgh.
Great craic, lovely company and perhaps the most Irish looking pudding in the history of Irish puddings.

0-0 v Raith Rovers under the lights at Firhill.
A poor game but a decent point for Thistle as we edge towards securing that play-off spot.
Best thing seen or heard in Maryhill tonight was a wee guy about 8-years-old at the food kiosk ordering a “Scottish pie”

Early Spring is probably my favourite time of the year in Edinburgh. 🌿

Ahead of the spring equinox on Thursday, today is the spring equilux which is when we have the closest to 12 hours of daylight.

From tomorrow days will be longer than nights 🌞🌚

Good to see the Telegraph not shying away from the big issues facing us all this cold Saturday. #Bovril

Recovering from a weekend of footballing disappointments with some @subbuteo.bsky.social.

First time in over 30 years @craiggoodlegs.bsky.social and I have played one another. (1-1) The old touch is still there!

My son quite handy too.
Truly is a delightful game.

There ain't nothing in Room 237. But you ain't got no business going in there anyway. So, stay out of Room 237!

Good morning.
Soon I’ll be Glasgow bound with a school pal for Partick Thistle at home to Queen’s Park in El Glasico. Followed by some scran… and then off to Slam at the Arches.
This is like Christmas without the Turkey, or the weans or elderly in-laws for 40-something 1990s survivors of the rave.

The Inside Barlinnie documentary on BBC Scotland is worth a watch. Great access, well handled. Grim but rays of hope. And taken back to school days news with Special Unit footage. A concept not without merit and positive outcomes. Went a bit off but worthy of reconsideration under controls?

Properly cold winter mornings in by the Union canal in Edinburgh look tranquil and yet give a hint to the industrial past of the town, I feel.

Falkirk can still be caught buts it’s quite lead they have. Form dip needed!
Livi, Thistle, Ayr and QP will still have big ambitions.
But from Dunfermline to Morton it looks like a dogfight to avoid dreaded second bottom spot.
Sewer-dwellers Airdrie appear done and ready to be flushed away.
