For the first time ever, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Czechia, Bulgaria, and Latvia withheld support for renewing UNRWA's mandate, at a vote on Friday at the UN General Assembly. Germany's Der Spiegel called it a “remarkable political shift.”

, bridging bipartisan divide. So if by mentioning AIPAC to spook your followers and increase your engagement. You look ridiculous because you don’t have any smoke for Heritage Action for America which is the lobbying arm for The Heritage Foundation.

AIPAC members are Americans who advocate for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, forming a large grassroots movement from all districts, including donors, activists, and political supporters, aiming to influence U.S. policy through lobbying and campaign contributions to candidates who support Israel

I don’t know who needs to hear this:
We know y’all love to use the word AIPAC as a boogeyman. But they’re not foreign agents sent by Israel as many of you like to portray for clicks and views.

The "big tent" of the Democratic Party should be the diversity of the people, not diversity of ideology. No form of hatred or bigotry belongs in the Democratic Party. We need to kick out the antisemites and a few others.

The Democratic Party will lose if it throws a minority under the hate bus. That's what Mamdani lookalikes are trying to do: ride a wave of Jew hatred.

It isn't a very big tent if it tramples any minority, especially one of its most dedicated bases.

This makes facially neutral policies--like poll taxes and literacy tests--that we know were adopted for discriminatory purposes legal. Organizations can now simply claim there was no discriminatory intent regardless of outcome. It's unconstrained institutionalized racism.

Q: “You said you would have no problem with releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd.”

Trump: “I didn’t say that. You said that. I didn’t say that. This is ABC fake news.”

Trump on Dec. 3: “Whatever they have, we’d certainly release. No problem.”

The GOP plan is to let premiums massively spike for 21 million Americans.

And then it gives them $1k per year ONLY IF they switch to bronze plans — which it also raises the cost of.

Awful awful plan that fucks over sick people.

It’s not just a UI/UX issue. Instead of understanding what people’s needs are and helping them bridge over the gap, or understanding what people’s actual problems are and designing solutions for them, they develop *products* and then go about coercing, forcing, or confounding people in to using them

What’s really frustrating is this isn’t just true of consumer applications. This is also the design ideology many large tech companies use when designing developer tooling, trust and safety tools, solutions that are meant to address harms like extremism and disinformation, etc.
The way tech companies constantly do stuff that nobody asked for really tells you a lot about their bigger ideology. They tell themselves that you will like it over time. What they mean is you’ll learn to endure it, or you’ll give up. quality of UI is not actually anywhere on their radar
new iOS update is sleek and also defaults in Music to “you must want songs transition as they would on a dance floor.” so many people will wonder why they can’t just listen to an album. Apps > Music > Song Transitions > toggle off.

Nearly 200 Israelis were killed during the First Intifada, and thousands more were injured.

Still desperately need:

- Prevent people I've blocked from adding me to lists
- Allow me to remove followers I don't want following me

And please start taking racism & anti-Semitism, and lists used solely for targeted harassment purposes, more seriously.

These are business decisions that must be made on the merits, not on the whims of the White House.

Undue government pressure on the press is dangerous and undemocratic.

Regardless of party, we should all be concerned when government actors seek to dictate press coverage.
