no like you CAN stand up for more than one thing at once!! and i feel like sometimes the fanbase enables them hiding behind mental health because every time someone crticises them, you have people going "oh so you hate the band" and by saying that they're *just* musicians

i think they are intentional in hiding behind this idea that Mental Health is what they want to focus on as if insectionality doesn't exist 🤷🏾‍♀️
my PERSONAL belief is that since they have the privilege to hide behind it, they will.
i have stopped expecting advocacy of any form from them a bit ago
