Erotic and non-erotic art are not distinct in the eyes of people who want the power to control expression. Your expression, lewd or not, is a powerful medium of communication and that is the thing that is subject to enclosure and control right now. Don't be dissuaded from doing your work.

Your struggle of self-worth is understandable, but be advised the OP & other artists aren't putting down non-ero artists but instead are calling for solidarity from them. Many artists are not showing solidarity because they think they are safe, and the post is a warning that they are not.

Yes, usually transparent plastic rulers that don't get used for other purposes. In particular, groove rulers and groove pull rods are nice for drawing lines that are parallel to a particular point in a drawing, and can be used when the goal is to avoid dragging the ruler across the display.

The frame border draws a frame object that can be either moved w/ the selection tool or transformed with the object selection tool. If you see circular nodes at the corners & centers of your frame, you're using the object selection tool & can transform it. Try using ruler guides for easier framing!

Hello, wanted to check on you and am glad to talk if you'd like to!

At this point completing works in Concepts alone is an interesting challenge because of how the fill shape tool works. It's indispensable, and even runs well in Linux if your computer supports Waydroid!

It has been highly annoying to have to choose between a perpetual license for CSP and simple mode. Have been personally swapping between the app Concepts to start and CSP or Krita to finish to get a similar feel, but the ease of having those in the same program can't be beat!

It's an upsetting state of affairs! Anything that tries to come close is either missing some feature that is essential for business use (XML import, scripting, etc) or is also a SaaS nightmare. The Open Source competitor is not ready for prime time yet, either...

If you enjoy the comic look, @mastafran.com comes with high recommendations! Only just noticed he was missing from the black furry artist list provided and came to correct that error. Thank you again for your consideration!

Good day! This NSFW account is run by a black furry artist, as is the account of frequent collaborator @inkjelly.bsky.social. Other examples include @darkboss.bsky.social, @nanodarkk.bsky.social, @stylusknight.bsky.social & @lovewin.bsky.social. Thank you for your consideration!

Brush settings can be edited from the Toolbar, in the "Brushes and Stuff" section. See included screenshots.

Pretty sure Unity is on Linux? Recall using a Flatpak of Unity in earlier testing -- flathub.org/en/apps/com.... -- not a Unity user so can't vouch for quality, but it is available. Can you go into detail about missing brush features in Krita? Making notes for research on this subject.

What have been your pain points during your switch? Has there been any feeling of limitation while doing so? For Krita specifically, have you had any problems with your workflow or use of the software at all? For Linux, have there been any programs you have been unable to replace or get working?

If you'd ever like to try another set, along with other customization to the Krita workspace -- blkmkt.net/resources/kr... -- If Krita is to be used, personally prefer a limited arrangement of dockers and well made brushes. This bundle gets tested with local clients!

Pursuing this currently as we speak for research. Have been using Fedora as a regular part of the workflow for about a year or two -- it's nice! Krita fits personally with custom .bundle file created for making it workable. Also using Waydroid to use preferred mobile drawing app Concepts.

What drawing tools did you have this trouble with, i.e. screen tablet, graphics tablet or convertible computer/mobile tablet? What OS were you using the Krita on, & where did you get the software (MS store, website, etc)? Have you used alternate brushes with Krita? If yes did you still struggle?

Interesting!
Was the lag contingent on your use of a specific tool, or did it occur at all times? Was the interface unresponsive in general? Thank you kindly for your response, will take notes for the future!

If it is not intrusive to continue, Krita & other software like it seem to suffer from initial UI arrangement that seek to prove its functionality rather than focusing on a specific use case (like CSP focusing on sequential art & illustration and surfacing tools for those purposes first).

One of the freelance day jobs involves helping local artists learn different software and other creative consultation. Out of curiosity, what pain points make Krita not comparable to CSP in your estimation? After use, found personal objections melted away after adjusting the UI & brushes.

Depending on the make and software available to you and your tablet, you can always increase the firmness to adjust how your tablet pressure is interpreted.

Sometimes it helps to use a large grip when a drawing glove is unavailable. Personally don't tend to run into the issue for larger screen tablets due to using the shoulder as the primary pivot for drawing, but for smaller ones and for sketchbooks a glove does make things more comfortable...

Always thought it was some kind of poncho...

Your heavily inked approach to sketch & illustration is engaging, as well as the way you sculpt and present figures. The way you anthropomorphize characters strikes an interesting contrast between animal facial features & muscular bodies. Observing your work to learn to control form better.
