And on day 7 I broke 50 minutes. Down 13 minutes in a week. Not too shabby. Still slow as fuck but I'm telling myself to be patient. I hate being patient. It's my least favorite activity other than running.

we live right off a country highway and it claims so many lives, wildlife and cats/dogs. it's why i am so fanatic about TNRing, otherwise right outside my front lawn is decorated with dead kittens... it's traumatic honestly

oh i just mean my muscles tone super crazy fast and i can make quick gains and also cut my 5k times pretty drastically within a short period of time. The depression is not a switch i can flip, that is a boulder up a hill except there is no top of the hill, i just keep pushing until i'm dead.

ah yeah, folks who had a lot of muscle tone in the past can regain it way faster than folks who are starting working out later on in life. muscle memory is wild shit - thanks, i think i'm just gonna rage til i feel better lolol #health

Were you an athlete or just a really active person? I used to do kickboxing, crew, gymnastics, etc. When I have the motivation and mental health to do it, i can flip a switch and become really fit. but depression is a bitch. i think im literally dogfighting my way out of depression right now.

A progression of 5ks in 5 days. Time dropped from 63 minutes to 52 minutes... back when i was in shape my average was around half an hour. not super speedy... but i am moving at a snail's pace by comparison - but there's decent progression
