and i do want to soapbox real quick, as someone who uses screenreaders sometimes: bluesky’s alt text system is inadequate and broken and is unusable on iOS specifically. the accessibility situation on this site is worse than the one on twitter. if they could fix…any of it, i’d really appreciate it.

i do wish i could implement a better alt text system. this is simply infeasible without either (a) manually hand-creating descriptions for 18,000 comic strips or (b) an AI library to automate that, which would, importantly, also not work. i really do apologize.

i made this thing to maybe make someone smile every now & again with the funny dog, & now it's ready to at least try.
