I got given some LEGO to sort so naturally I built Scarecrow's biplane. It didn't have all the right bits and I had to compromise on colours but I'm very pleased with the end result. I already had the minifigure but everything else was scavenged.

It is #NationalWritingDay here tomorrow and there isn't going to be time for a proper writing session so I'm setting my goal for the day lower. I'm hoping to add a sentence to each chapter of my active wips. Since one of my wips is 30 chapters long this isn't a small task but it does feel achievable

Linda A. Morabito worked at NASA and discovered the first proof of volcanoes on Jupiter's moon, Io, in 1979. On studying a Voyager 1 photo she processed the image and noted a crescent from an eruption off the limb of the moon. It was the first time active volcanism was found outside of planet Earth.

Morabito pictured after her discovery of Io volcanism, in front of a model of the Voyager spacecraft at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She is holding a print of the image that enabled her to make the discovery.
