Colorado ranchers, who have started to increase profits, concerned by Trump proposal to buy cheap Argentine beef
While beef prices have increased since COVID — up 51% in five years, according to federal data — the price of cattle has also climbed. That's allowed Colorado ranchers to reinvest their profits.

We spend our days finding what others try to hide—government docs, secret contacts, buried truths. But what happens when investigative reporters turn their skills toward life’s less consequential mysteries?
Come for the joy, stay for the sleuthing.

As a matter of law, there is no such thing as "federal immunity." Trump has broad immunity, but public employees enjoy only qualified immunity that does not extend if a "reasonable person" would understand their actions to be illegal. Stephen Miller is not a reasonable person.
Stephen Miller on Fox threatens to arrest JB Pritzker for "seditious conspiracy" and says, "to all ICE officers: you have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties. And anybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop or obstruct you is committing a felony."

Wales v Belgium: World Cup 2026 qualifying – live
* Updates from the 7.45pm BST kick-off in Cardiff * Live scores: all the goals as they go in | Email Michael This is a good time to face Belgium. Not only are they stuttering in front of goal, but also missing Romelu Lukaku. Leandro Trossard was selected as the striker in the goalless draw against North Macedonia, with Michy Batshuayi and Lois Openda left on the bench. Belgium manager Rudi Garcia has included Charles De Ketelaere in the starting XI tonight but responded to criticism over his selection choices in his pre-match press conference. From time to time, some of you make me laugh,” Garcia said to journalists. “When a player is on the list, he shouldn’t be there. And the same player should have been included, even though you didn’t even want him. I make my choices based on what I see. When you win, you’re always right, and when you don’t win, it’s the coach’s lot. Everyone becomes a coach in those moments. I have enough experience not to pay attention to it and stay focused on the next match.” Tonight will have a big say with what happens in the group. Hopefully we can be the ones on top. I want to see intensity, with an without the ball. This is tough game, but it has to be. The reward is so great. We know we are going to have to through pain, but we have to be prepared to do that.
