Sorry, by progress locked, I mean missable.

It's been a while so my memory isn't the best, but I don't think so. All the important side quests are not progress locked, in any case.

There's a few good endings but no true canonical one. But to get one of the good endings requires finishing what's technically a side quest at the end game that's a BIG spoiler, so I won't give details. Most other endings depend on when you fight the final boss, you have access relatively early on.

Well, they do have holodecks, and also they mention in DS9 and in previous episodes of LD that the holodecks are often used for more... uhh... pleasing activities. lol

I'd get one that supports apple pencil gen 2 or apple pencil pro, since those have hover (showing cursor while hovering above screen). Then just the one that you're willing to pay for. Can't go wrong with any pros or airs with M chip in it.
