I'm confused, doesn't everyone keep the same number when they change phones? I've only ever had 1 phone number!

You should compete in a tower dash. I once did one at Beetham Tower in Manchester... nearly 50 floors in 7.5 minutes. Agony.

To be honest Stephen, I think this argument can be very reasonably levelled at a lot of media institutions, including your own sometime.

Or perhaps the fact futons make up a very small part of their product offering??

This isn't quite true is it? As the NIC rate drops to 2% for higher earners? They will see a tax rise.

Wonderful piece!

But I have to ask about the Metropole being Blackpools "only seafront hotel"? There are lots of them, along north shore in particular!

I have never fully understood how a lot of these, often very smart, people don't realise that even if they do have extremely strong beliefs on the issue, they are just coming across as a cunt.

Stephen it's been 4days and I'm still thinking about this post. I love cooling towers and so do lots of others! But whether you do or not, do you think, for example, that the pottery bottle ovens around Stoke shouldn't be protected? They are a key part of our heritage, let alone architectural icons!

Erm, you can never go to Paris too many times... 😄

Didn't mean original post to sound aggressive, just stressing the point :) Not sure on the intention, but it could be a good result, if the thinking is the interaction / "insta v reality" type angle of social media that causes the problem? This could reduce that aspect but still allow tv-type use.

July 30, 2025 at 9:28 PM
This ban is being wildly misunderstood- THEY CAN STILL WATCH YOUTUBE. They just can't post on YouTube or write comments etc
July 30, 2025 at 9:26 PM
You're right, and that is still not what your original point was :)

Not the brightest are you?
July 28, 2025 at 9:05 PM
OK cool thanks for your opinion. Totally separate point to your original one though..

He said solar farms are better than pig farms

Why is there Border Patrol, Police and DEA markings on the officers?
July 26, 2025 at 4:43 PM
They tend to prioritise stable returns, and measure performance against a benchmark. Private investors tend to want higher returns over a shorter period - I do think this has quite a large impact on how the companies are run, and stable long term returns are more easily earned by meeting targets etc
