Of course as we all know Trump is simply the most manipulatable man alive. Zohran is charming and handsome and probably was just nice to him which is all it took.

Just got out of it myself. Agreed that there was a little too much floating in mid-air by the end. The best fights were ones where they're grounded and trading blows, or where she's leaping around like the Hulk trying to catch them

And as much as I love the Bomb action scenes in the manga, the anime has the benefit of controlling timing. You can really feel how dangerous she is from the speed of her movements and attacks, the way that she and her bombs seem to almost teleport from their launch point to their target.

And yeah the arc fits so nicely into a movie runtime. The rom-com intro that builds from sweetness to eroticism to horror to a massive action set piece. Hard to imagine this working better with TV pacing. This feels like the best possible packaging for the story in animation form.

It's very funny, has some goofy character acting, and finally (FINALLY!) brings some of the paint splatter and color saturation from the manga covers into the animation. While still deploying the more serious, cinematic tone in its darker and more intimate moments.
