31 completed pies this year. I was planning 34, but I keep a few in reserve to make throughout the day as needed. The teenagers didn't go crazy enough to need 3 more, so I'll make them over the weekend to feed the family. In total, about 3 pies worth of leftovers after folks loaded to-go plates 🥰

New #teslatakedown friends came, and of course the friends who look forward to it every year were back to share. My favorite is watching kids go crazy for pie, and watching adults turn into kids as they start digging into the pies.

So I created "Black Pie-Day" or just pie day. I spend the week in the kitchen and when my friends arrive on #BlackFriday there are 30ish pies waiting to greet them.
It grows a bit every year. This year all three kids had big groups of friends come.

All guests get pie on pie day, especially the very good ones. Usually fur friends just eat scraps or maybe grab a quiche when no one's looking but this year we made dedicated doggy pies thanks to a great idea from @dashdog.bsky.social. Here he is making some content and getting his pie 🥰

Could be. But most of the radio ads on the NFL games are far right kook stuff and it's gotta be pretty expensive relatively. Not sure what kind of analysis goes into that buy 🤷♂️
