It definitely has some very cool aspects and ideas, but personally it doesn’t quite come together for me. That might be in large part due to the procedural nature of the world though, which is what makes the game so special in the first place.

Yeah I don’t mind them putting a helmet heavily inspired by boba fet and calling it a “outlaw” helmet or whatever, but a brand deal with all of its trappings would make me sick.

I’m not super precious about the world of No Man’s Sky or anything. I find the game incredible, but the story and world building is not one of it’s strong points. And it’s certainly not shy about wearing its influences on its sleeve. I just don’t want all massive franchises shunted into every thing
