Leading an all-out national mobilization to defeat the climate crisis by building the just, thriving, clean energy economy we deserve.
Thank you for boosting! This @synapseenergy.bsky.social analysis was done in collaboration with @nrdc.org and found these 4 policies could save the average New Jersey household $467 per year on electric bills by 2030.

Thank you @vanhollen.senate.gov, @beyer.house.gov and Members of Congress urging PJM to shield families from skyrocketing energy costs driven by data center growth and PJM’s mismanagement.

PJM must put consumers first—not utility profits

"We're going to produce more energy, and we're going to lower costs—and we're going to do that by producing more energy here in Virginia."

That's the blueprint for how Democrat win big: connect clean energy to lower costs and homegrown power.

Congratulations @abigailspanberger.com 🎉

The same tech giants that are forcing you and me to pay to power their data centers through our electric bill apparently have no problem paying for Donald Trump to tear down parts of the White House so he can build a $300 million ballroom for himself.
October 23, 2025 at 8:37 PM
The economics are clear: The push to build fossil fuels to power data centers is going to hurt people and one way to address that harm is by demanding these centers be built with clean, cheap, fast-to-build energy sources like wind and solar. From @profgalloway.com

Can clean energy find common ground in today’s polarized world? Farmers want to participate in clean energy—but red tape, misinformation & restrictions are slowing progress.

Co-author @courtbrady.bsky.social shares the lessons.

And Trump’s EPA is trying to gut one of the most important climate protections we have.

While Trump schmoozes with AI execs at the Pennsylvania Energy & Innovation Summit, don’t forget: his energy agenda is driving up YOUR bills by undermining the clean, reliable power we need to meet growing demand from big tech.

All talk, no watts.

Ted Cruz: “Ok, what could have been done differently?"

Also Ted Cruz: inserted language in the spending bill to gut weather forecast spending and built a career denying our climate reality.

Nobody wants Trump’s Big Oil Billionaire bill —except oligarchs, dying coal barons, Big Oil, and the politicians they bought.

New York just proposed a rule requiring big polluters to report their emissions—a crucial step toward launching a cap-and-invest program that cuts pollution, lowers costs, and invests in clean transit.

It's almost like Republicans never cared about lowering energy prices for working class Americans.

What’s Trump doing on climate change? Making it worse while making your life more expensive.

NEW modeling on energy costs of the GOP reconciliation bill:

📉 forces clean energy capacity additions to fall 114 GW by 2030—undercutting American competitiveness.
💰 wholesale power prices would increase by 50% by 2035 from the loss of new capacity.

Let’s talk about #reconciliation and how the bill text Republicans are proposing is exactly what the fossil fuel industry paid for.

@mcclellan.house.gov is right. Clean energy isn't just cheaper, it's faster to deploy—meaning energy bills come down further, faster.

For example, simple fixes that approve clean energy projects in PJM's interconnection queue faster could save VA customers $727 a year.

More coverage on the costs of ending clean energy tax credits.

A new report from @energyinnovation.org found that repealing the clean energy incentives and investments from the IRA would increase household energy bills by more than $6 billion by 2030.

WATCH @warren.senate.gov on the Senate floor: "Last month, the company suddenly announced they’re ending the project. No more jobs, no more tax revenue. Why? Because of Donald Trump’s attacks on clean energy."

Nearly 60% of New Yorkers support congestion pricing, which was expected to raise $15 billion to improve New York’s bus and subway system.

But guess you wouldn’t care about that when you and your billionaire friends get driven around in private cars.

NOW: @senatorheinrich.bsky.social @kaine.senate.gov are calling for the end to Trump’s war on affordable, American-made energy.

"The cheapest, fastest solutions are clean solutions—if you take those off the table? Things will get very expensive, very fast."
February 19, 2025 at 6:05 PM
Get out of DOGE, he didn’t actually lower energy prices? 🤔
February 13, 2025 at 1:19 AM
NOW: @markey.senate.gov and other MOCs are demanding an end to the Trump administration’s illegal funding blockades on EPA.

“We cannot sit back while an autocrat-in-chief and his nepo baby henchman dismantle parts of our government that get in the way of their conflicts of interest.”

31 Wendy’s and McDonald's locations in Illinois will get energy bill discounts potentially worth over $1 million over 20 years by participating in community solar.
