Listing to port and CEV, everything is interesting. Especially flutes.

I know no one that trusts #Streeting with the NHS due to his links with private healthcare companies. If he replaces Starmer, the #NHS is in bigger trouble.
It is comical how disliked Wes Streeting is by everyone other than Labour MPs and centrist journalists.

I'm not sure even they actually like him, they just see him as "electoral dynamite" for reasons that are beyond the rest of us.

Even a paper-thin win at the last election didn't change this.

So now we can guess at the level of poverty that needs to be experienced before a population rises up against its leaders.

98% poverty levels.

The US madness is gonna run and run…

The football World Cup runs every 4 years.

My guess is that if trump is still alive in 4yrs, he’ll get the Peace prize again. Dead inside 8 yrs - prize will be awarded to him in eternity and withdrawn as a sign of respect. (This action could also be true if trump doesn’t make it to the next WC).
Better than 50% chance there is no FIFA Peace Prize next year and this was a one-off to make the orange toddler happy.

This is getting stupid now.

We're at the point where Labour acknowledge both the damage caused by Brexit AND that rejoining the Customs Union (more accurately, joining A Customs Union) would boost growth.

And yet they still reinforce their red lines.

“I am proud to have scrapped the two-child limit,” #Starmer intoned yesterday “and lifted half a million children out of poverty.” Fascinating to hear he’s extremely proud of doing something he last year suspended seven of his MPs for voting for.”

I hope someone draws this wonderful story about Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and the power of the arts to help us see things differently, to the attention of our Education Secretary. Do read it, it will lift your spirits.
