Okay, I'll admit I've been so much in such a postdoc application/transatlantic move hellscape that I sort of forgot this site existed. But hey, exciting news! I've been at the incredible @folger.edu for my Artistic Research Fellowship for the past month, and today I'm in Staunton, VA for this!

A very nice surprise to receive this from Roehampton yesterday just a few days before my viva this Thursday! Congrats to all of the staff recognized for their wonderful work, especially my supervisor Dr. Lisa Sainsbury, who received an incredibly well deserved win for Excellence in Supervision. ❣️

Absolutely encourage any early modernists in London to see 1536 at the Almeida if you’re able — with some understandable and easily forgivable hiccups, it is a thoughtful and passionate engagement with how misogyny operated in the early mod. period and how we have inherited that poisonous legacy

Entering the 3rd PhD year, and today marks 3 years living in the UK. It’s been a strange, often wonderful, frequently baffling, special and terrifying three years. I live with a lot of homesickness but a lot of appreciation for the opportunities I’ve had here. Onto the next year!!
