There's a few Hammer Films-related pieces up for grabs in my eBay store currently, with some more to come.

Help a boy out and buy something!

Hopefully the books I'm working on at the moment will be real eye-openers.

Thanks ! I've got another project which has been stuck with printing issues all summer that I hope will be out imminently. Then it's the Exclusive book, and then the Hammer enterprises project !

I just wish I was a faster maker!

Once I'm finished this Exclusive Films book I can throw myself totally into this project.

It's very much the missing piece of the puzzle.

If you think Hammer was only films then you're very wrong. Hammer Productions were also extensively involved in theatre in the 40s and 50s.

I've spent this morning organising some of my collection of Hammer theatre programmes for a future project.

Am very envious of all of you who got invites to The Curse of Frankenstein 4k premiere event in London tonight.

I'm sure it'll be a blast.

Oh I get the thematic reasons, but I think chronologically and stylistically it belongs with Twins.

But absolutely delighted they've given it a 4k chance and should hopefully make the set more appealing to the reticent

I always thought Wolfshead belonged on a Twins of Evil disc!

I watched the new restoration of The Man in Black last night - Sid James is a delight, and love the detail thats now on show.

Also thrilled to finally be able to see Yoga and You - would also like to have seen the other Yoga shorts in the package, not sure where they'll fit in now

Men of Sherwood Forest is the next Hammer Films 4k.

Very much looking forward to this one - Exclusive/Hammer's earliest colour feature finally restored.

Plus a 4k restoration of John Hough's excellent Wolfshead.

Just arrived in the post - the new Hammer Films 4k of The Man in Black.

This is one of my favorite early Hammer films and I'm so looking forward to tucking in.

The Man Who Could Cheat Death - original US 1/2 sheet poster.

This one used to hang above my fireplace. Top tip Hammer fans - if you want an affordable original Hammer poster that it's easy to find a frame for - buy a 1/2 sheet!

What's the one piece of Hammer memorabilia you'd like to own?

Are you a poster person? A VHS collector? Do you own props?

Pictured - a selection of pieces from my collection

Got my order for The Curse of Frankenstein in. And for the first time I seem to have bagged some of the freebies (though not the poster ☹️).

Folks, Hammer Films have separate 4k and Blu-ray Editions available for this one alongside the Ltd edition box

That whole disc 6 feels very much like a thank you to the late Ted Newsom for all his Hammer research over the years.

His input in Hammer circles is much-missed.

And Flesh and Blood is an essential documentary for Hammer fans - in any of its various edits!
exclusivefilms.bsky.social
Really pleased to see Ted Newsom's doc on Tales of Frankenstein is finally getting an airing.
It was dropped at the last minute from the 2012 BD for reasons unknown to me - which was a shame after I'd persuaded Hammer to include the tv pilot as an extra, giving it an official UK release!
exclusivefilms.bsky.social
The Curse of Frankenstein is next up in Hammer's 4k restorations.

An epic features-packed UK-only limited edition

Thank you! Very kind of you to say so!
I haven't had a chance to dig into the rest of it yet!

My contributor copy of the new Hammer Films' 4k restoration of BLOOD ORANGE has arrived! Delighted.

I've written an essay on Exclusive Films for the booklet, and lent the original 35mm elements for the trailer from my personal collection of ephemera.

The towering piles of books above my desk are foreboding. Need yet more bookcases.

And/or a clear out. It's amazing how much I've acquired 'in case' that gives me no pleasure or enthusiasm.

Not the Hammer stuff obvs - that's a proper collection.

An assortment of rare hardback source novels for Hammer Films /Exclusive Films adaptations.

How many of these are in your collections?

(I'm sorting through some boxes of material in the office today).

Partly it feels like 'here's some ignorant Paddys' but I'm not sure if that was the intent. I must revisit the tv serial as I can't recall what way that played out.
