but it never quite like, fully commits to it bc the setting doesn't change and most characters don't go with "wow I was totally wrong five years ago hah hah awkward teenage years amirite" so it's very in between the lines
and also JRPGs in general are always teenage power fantasies so... dimilix...

It is not something I talk about much bc this is a dimilix account for dumb dimilix but also like... FE in a general sense does a lot of "teenager learns to take adult responsibility through battle chess" and 3H is somewhat doing that through Byleth and a five year timeskip with Stuff Happening

That is one of my favorite dimilix flavors 💝 Felix must reconcile that Dimitri can be flawed and messy and still Dimitri and Dimitri has to learn it's okay to tell Felix when he needs help and maybe a few sparring sessions ohohoh
