A smaller litter tray to start with is better do they don’t get overwhelmed & scared in a big tray, & put on newspaper for the accidents & near misses.

Mines in - can’t have a cat flap because she’d invite a dozen other cats in for a party & I’ll worry if shes out because of the foxes.
She’ll happily wake me up though about 4am
to go out, have a snack or want some company 😖

Your cat(s) will find you. I think you have to go in person to a rescue centre & then you’ll know. These were my two , Lyra & Pan when they were kittens- I went to pick up one & came back with both! I’ve adopted 5 cats over the years - absolutely adored every one. 😻 Good luck!

Waitrose had a good deal on the gin at the weekend. Whitney Neil (41.5% proof) was £19 so I’m trying that as it was the base of an award winning sloe gin vs my usual Tesco’s gin & a vodka one this year. Obsessive moi?

I’ve gone a bit mad trying higher alcoholic gins (41.5%) & much lower conc. of sugar 150g to 500g sloes (the sloes are so big & ripe I think they won’t need the usual 250-400g sugar). I can adjust with honey at the end if too tart. I don’t like using sugar syrup as it dilutes the alcohol..
