But I feel like the direction is good, and after one or two iterations, this could indeed feel much better than previous simpler flat UIs.

Homepage and lock screen already look quite better than before.

And it’s a tricky circuit with big crests and blind corners.

I was cautious under braking, over-slowing a bit, but I exited corners flat out at the limit of grip, which felt awesome.

Honestly surprised at how quickly I felt comfortable. Need to plan more track time now.

There are many positive aspects.

The new windowing system is excellent, and some liquid glass effects make the UI feel more alive and tactile.

But the new indented sidebars and floating buttons are not convincing me. Apple Mail looks worse to me overall, for example.

Final Reckoning has some of the best action in the series, and Cruise is on top form. Had a lot of fun watching it.

But (SPOILERISH) it gets too self-referential and cliché for me. The whole “Ethan was always right and heroic” angle feels quite forced to me.
