Movie lover (especially horror, scifi, etc), auto racing fanatic, avid reader and part-time poet, novice retrogaming enthusiast, indie rock nerd, true crime junkie, socialist, nonbinary they/them, aro-ace, pal to all.
The most basic movie nerds out there are the ones who think Tarantino is a really good writer/director. The more advanced weirdos realize there so much more interesting stuff out there than Tarantino stealing his favorite shots from foreign or b movies and saying the n-word for 2 hours.

Fact #1: Liquorice is very popular in the Netherlands, and by extension the colonial reaches of the Kingdom such as Aruba.
Fact #2: Liquorice in Dutch is called "drop."
Fact #3: Aruba is a highly multilingual society.

Anyway that's how you end up with a candy store called Drop 'N Nuts.

Matthew Lillard rocks

Matthew Lillard gives an incredible performance in Twin Peaks: The Return and is easily the best part of Scream, and Owen Wilson co-wrote and starred in some of the best Wes Anderson films.

Quentin Tarantino can go fuck himself, dude has been a bad actor in many of his own films.

Someday people like Charlie Crist whose entirely personality was a gay man playing aggressively straight man drag while marrying unfortunate women will just baffle people.

In this 1999 Craftsman Truck Series race they show Rick Crawford's wrecked Truck and the huge, audible "HA!" I let out when I saw his destroyed vehicle. Didn't have to worry he'd do well for the rest of the race like I often do when watching old Truck races.

I swear to God the big teams in Indycar just like straight up colluded to ensure no big team gave Seb Bourdais the great ride he deserved and ensured he'd only be with midpack teams cause they were afraid the face of the loser series would come in and spank all their asses. My big conspiracy theory

Remember Parker Johnstone? The guy who was at Team Green before they became like good? That's the skeet.

Admittedly, with my dreams of becoming an ethical vegetarian starting as my New Year's Resolution in January (too chaotic trying to do it while visiting my parents in December), my purchase today of a large bag of pork rinds for $2 is weird.

Or as a neighbor used to say: "a bag of Meat Skins"

I wonder why in all their struggles to develop top American talent, CART/Champ Car never tried to recruit Scott Pruett back into their paddock, I think he could have won some races against those up and down fields of the 2000s but he never go another shot after moving to NASCAR and failing.

I look forward to winter, where I quickly become sick of having no racing so often dedicates parts of weekends to watching classic races from 80s, 90s, and 00s. Up today is the CART Detroit GP at Belle Isle from 1997, one I've never seen before I just picked at random, a decent transfer.

I don't understand why the older people at my school and especially in my building are so confused by the concept of headphones. They probably had Walkmans and shit back in the day. But even when it is plain to see I have earbuds in they talk to me and some people get mad when I don't respond.
