Yes, exactly. But somehow the story I heard as a little kid was that this was why the white album was white.

Does anyone else remember hearing (in 1969) that the album was white because the cover was supposed to be John & Yoko naked? Either a mistake became a rumor or I got it wrong because I was 9 yrs old.
