Really? One, it was less of a series than a collection of made for broadcast movies. Two, very few shows *don't* get good reviews these days as an unsettling amount of television "critics" like everything they see, and three, Jeremy Brett was a hell of a lot better as Sherlock Holmes.

I decided to have a nostalgia hit this morning and watch an episode of Ultraman (episode 23, My Home is Earth) and quickly realized it had more interesting shot setups and lighting than almost any studio movie of today.
