I love funny wrong literal translations!

The German word for faucet or valve literally translates back to „water rooster“ (yay for homonyms).

A new law is being discussed in Berlin. If passed, more than 2000 people would be told to immediately leave or be forcibly deported. Includes giving police the right to break into homes without permit. Since beginning of the year until September, 1029 people have been deported. It's a fucking fearful and violent atmosphere - so how many of your white German friends, who cannot be deported or be racially profiled, are going to protests right now? How many are keeping up with the news right now? How many have told you "it's too much I have to take care of myself right now" as if the rest of us who are affected, some more directly than others, some more criminalized for their identities than others, choose to be in the situation?

To white folk: What could you imagine for your own child in this violent system in near future?! Stand against violence and racism before it will cause much more hate and violence! Today in the train a white kid was bullying a black kid and addressing him racially and harassing him physically. When I interacted to stop the discrimination, the Black kid was calling me Arab as an insult to get credit from the white kid. His eyes were terrified and clearly he was in fawning trauma reaction. What is the outcome of causing and supporting racism and genocide officially plus forcing kids to sign paper that they are not pro Hamas!!! That's just so fucked up in many levels! Remember violence creates more violence! Imagine your own kids have to live in the future you are making right now!!! Don't let the system destroy the future of your own kids by establishing a violent system! "No on is safe, until everyone is"

These days in Berlin I get a lot of flashbacks. Wall writings becoming the only way to stop the censorship. This one is right on point. "You can be We cannot." During the last week, ID checks by the police, htting people and arresting children was our daily lives. Reading the news about deportation and punishment for non-citizens who show solidarity with Palestinians, once again showed how the social capital is aware of the hierarchy papers bring in a neoliberal world. "You can be We cannot" Feeling helpless and not really able to participate in the demos, feeling powerless when European citizens keep silence, or even support these fascist acts. What should happen for you to wake up?

This is not about not condemning H*mas. This is about following a cowardly anti-deutsch rhetoric that seeks to absolve themselves of their past (and present) anti-s*emitism by conveniently allowing themselves to ignore the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people. Solidarity with all suffering from senseless violence as a direct result of state repression that makes it an inevitability. A text: Today during a short stay at Kotti, I witnessed 2 BIPoC people were arrested without any reason. Berlin is full of tension and the city is full of police. This is the case in another neighborhood as Neuköln and Alex. I heard from all BIPoCs around me that everyone feels unsafe regarding to the current racism brutality... If you are white and have privileges to stand in solidarity and for change, your silence is part of the violence system! Now is the critical time to change the generational trauma that your past generations done to many communities! We don't need your constant guilt/shame, neither your critical solidarity with oppressor! We need your responseAbility! Rise up in solidarity before it is too late again!
