Dang I’ve had these types of issues before too. A print run that worked 10 times before suddenly stops working with no clear indication of anything changing.

My printer has to use a specific computer with a specific driver version installed and that scares me a lot

Thinking about this more, I think the 3DS also has the region lock for DSi enhanced games but nearly every 3DS has cfw which removes the lock

I can’t fully remember and I’m out of the country so I can’t confirm but I think DSi region locks any “DSi enhanced” games and B/B2 are DSi enhanced (Xtransciever uses the actual camera on DSi) so the game would be region locked. Try a JPN DSi if you have one
