THIS. In the beginning I suspected that COVID was a vascular disease & not a lung disease b/c of the other problems we were seeing. I would draw an ABG & the blood would clot b4 I could run a sample & yet, the pt would bleed profusely from any injection site. We assumed it was DIC. Excellent read.
