Instead I've spent the last two weeks mostly playing the anime room on VGM quiz and increasing my apex legends playtime by like 20 hours

I do not dislike these but they're very much things I do to kill time when I have no clue what else to do. Just completely mind numbing stuff

Fun wee co-op puzzle platformer/3rd person shooter deal.

My only complaint would be pretty consistent desyncs when a lot of effects happened. That could've been performance related on our end though.

Great for screenshotting out of context if you hate people named Andrew or Pomu

It again does feel very much like pokemon, with good type matchups or hitting fast and hard enough you can steamroll very easily, but with a few more tricks you can do thanks to the battle system with moving around, the differing placement of a phys vs a special move, calling pokemon back etc

I think I'm giving up on untangling the story writing here every time I try I enter a state of confusion as to what the overarching themes are actually trying to say

Still, the game looks good, is fun and the cast themselves are quite likeable. I had a good time

Anyway I do like the setting and story. The battles feel different but it's mostly noticeable in trainer battles which feel very revenge-killy thanks to how delay works. And then the final trainer boss has 8 pokemon the cheating bastard

This has been sitting around half-finished for like three years now, with ZA on the horizon I got back to it

This game is cool, I just don't like the joycons and switching between ride pokemon feels like ass which soured things
