It can be really upsetting to see a promising game get cancelled, especially when the reason why it's getting scrapped are some of the most idiotic explanations you've ever heard.

The new video is available now for tier 2 channel members, and will be public on 7th Nov @ 13:30 GMT.

In addition, Part 4 of "Explaining Yakuza 5" is now available for tier 3 channel members, where we get to learn the text book definition of peak fiction with Tatsuo Shinada.

We all know about censorship, but sometimes it can be kind of humourous just how far and weird the changes can be, often times to cover up something that is very obviously still happening.

The new video is available now for tier 2 channel members, and will be public on 24th Oct @ 13:30 BST.

20. Is This Seat Taken? (NS)
Cute little puzzle game that's probably best experienced with touch screen controls.

Nothing groundbreaking but nothing offensive either.

19. Kirby and the Forgotten Land (NS)
Returned to finish this after the Switch 2 Edition came out.

Very impressive for the first proper 3D Kirby game, with it coming with all the positives you'd expect (good music, solid copy ability lineup, good for beginners whilst not being brain dead easy etc.)

What do you do when you've ran out of ideas, steal other people's work, it's fine nobody will ever know... until they do and you become a point of mockery at best, and risk getting sued at worst.

The new video is available now for tier 2 channel members, and will be public on 10th Oct @ 13:30 BST.

In addition, Tier 3 Channel Members can see Part 3 of explaining Yakuza 5, which showcases Haruka's struggles within the idol industry and a sudden tragedy... also Akiyama is there I guess.

Regular viewers will be able to watch the full video once it has been completed.

It's pretty common for games to get rereleased on newer platforms, what's less common is a game getting multiple releases for the exact same platform.

The new video is available now for tier 2 channel members, and will be public on 26th Sep @ 13:30 BST.

We've all made the odd bad choice, and plenty can be made during a game's development. What's less common is when one decision can be blamed for almost singlehandedly ruining an entire game.

The new video is available now for tier 2 channel members, and will be public on 12th Sep @ 13:30 BST.

A frequent topic of discussion is how the Xbox One was the moment Xbox as a brand started going downhill. On the bright side, atleast it wasn't the worst release a system had.

The new video is available now for tier 2 channel members, and will be public on 29th Aug @ 13:30 BST

In addition, Tier 3 Channel Members can see Part 2 of explaining Yakuza 5, which follows Saejima going to prison... again, before breaking out... again, in order to investigate a mystery involving Majima... again.

Regular viewers will be able to watch the full video once it has been completed.

Whilst Nintendo is responsible for one of the biggest crossovers in gaming history, not every collab they've done has made a similar impact.

The new video is available now for tier 2 channel members, and will be public on 15th Aug @ 13:30 BST.

Sometimes a game takes a while to comeout, sometimes it just refuses to release for years, wastes millions, & has the potential to burn everything down via the eternal flames of development hell.

The new video is available now for tier 2 channel members, and will be public on 1st Aug @ 13:30 BST

18. LEGO Harry Potter Collection (PS4)
Mostly played this for nostalgia sake (used to play the games alot on Wii & Xbox 360).

Not much to say, it's pretty much just your standard lego game themed to British wizards.

17. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (XONE)
I blame Microsoft being a dogshit company and doing an awful job at selling their systems as to why I never gave this a try.

Only complaint is that I don't like the remastered visuals, but you can revert to the og graphics so it's not that big an issue.

16. Devil May Cry (PS4)
Really good action game that still holds up today, unlike alot of other "pioneer titles".

Just wish it gave the option to pick a higher difficulty from the start and that the bosses were better.
July 18, 2025 at 7:55 PM
15. SoulCalibur II (NS2)
Very fun 3D fighter that I want to get better at with great presentation and seemingly a lot of content on offer.

Just wish there was a version that let you play with all 3 guest characters.

Returning to the backlog this week to complete blind playthroughs of three games from franchises I have no past experience with and know next to nothing about.

In addition, Tier 3 channel members can watch part 1 of Explaining Yakuza 5, where we get to see the escapades of taxi driver Taichi Suzuki who looks... oddly familiar.

Isn't it great to see a classic series make a surprise comeback... shame we're instead discussing the ones that only helped them stay dead.

Tier 2 Channel members can watch the new video right now.
Regular viewers being able to watch it on the 4th Jul @ 13:30 BST.

14. Mario Kart World (NS2)
I'm still trying to figure out the full extent of the parkour system, and getting racers via the Kamek item is really stupid.

Otherwise really fun and refreshing take on the Mario Kart formula after 8 games that are basically the same thing but with different tracks.
June 9, 2025 at 7:11 AM
13. Yakuza 0: Director's Cut (NS2)
Literally exact same as the original but with a multiplayer mode, more localisation options, & 5 cutscenes that were originally cut & are mostly nothing burgers. Only recommend getting if you already have a Switch 2 & don't have anyway of playing the original game.
June 7, 2025 at 8:36 AM
Yakuza is a great series, especially when it comes to the side stuff, but then you find one that leaves you baffled as to what the hell just happened.

Tier 2 Members can see the video right now.
Regular viewers will be able to see it on Friday @ 13:30 BST.
