Latest batch out of the polish! Grungy colors, mostly creek rocks. I technically found that larger amethyst piece - where somebody had dumped out their aquarium. That big gray piece in the top middle is glass from a construction site. 🚧 #rocktumbling #rockpolishing
An arrangement of glossy polished rocks and a couple pieces of polished glass. There is one particularly large piece of gray glass. Most of the rocks are grungy semi-transparent quartz with a few pieces of amethyst mixed in.

Back in 2013-2014, I had a ridiculous jalapeno plant that I'd overwintered. It produced more peppers than I could eat, and I was eating them almost every day! I really want to do that again in 2026. 🌶🌱

Before I moved to a fossil hunting town and learned to polish rocks, I used to run a manicure IG. I miss my pristine nails, but I definitely don't miss the upkeep.

A massive tooth from the extinct species of shark called megalodon. The root is broken off on the left side and the enamel is peeling, but it's still an impressive fossil.

When Vivi gets annoyed but not actually mad, she goes all spiky.

Forgot I wanted to post a shot of the apple pie my husband made from scratch. It was incredible. Tart apples and sweet spices. So good.
