these items automatically reallocate other items' functionalities and bind them to other events ingame, and this is the most clear way i could figure out to express that. still look like a mess? then stay away from these bastards!

i am familiar with linux kernel device drivers so i may eventually mess around and make one for the drawing tablet but i dont really see how i can get it working for opentabletdriver without them refactoring to add bluetooth support...

i've discovered why. on windows, the wii controller is unrecognised and defaults to a generic HID adapter which makes it show up as a USB device to attempt some form of compatability. On linux, apparently, all nintendo controllers have native gamepad support (??????)

opentabletdriver FAQ says it doesnt support bluetooth... i don't really understand what's going on in windows to make it show up as a USB device.

yes (at least to the api opentabletdriver uses) and i did think it was kind of strange that it did tbh... i guess linux doesnt.
regardless if you could find the vendor and product id through maybe bluetoothctl devices, i'm curious if the different increments of wii remotes have different product ID

you need to be on the 0.6.x branch, for some reason opentabletdriver stopped developing 7.x which is main, and went back to developing 0.6...
