After nearly 3 years in a very tiny office wedged between a hair stylist and a dental practice, Fire Aside has now moved to a more spacious locale, less than 1/2 a mile away.

But now, we're proud to say that we've taken on many new partner agencies, and grown the team to 15 full-time employees.

Fire Aside has long admired @wildland-zko.bsky.social and his team at The Lookout, which provides critical wildfire analysis.

This spring, we were thrilled to join Lunder and other veteran wildfire pros on a bike-based wildfire tour of LA.

This week, a Congressional subcommittee is set to discuss the “Fix Our Forests Act,” a new bill that aims to enhance wildfire mitigation and technologies – including Fire Aside’s platform – in support of that mission.

This month, a vegetation fire erupted in the Town of Los Altos Hills, a small community in Santa Clara County.

Local fire officials attributed fuel treatment on a particular road as key to quick extinguishment.
