I think we'd have realised what was happening a lot sooner and really understood it was wrong. Rather than it just being "blah blah teacher talked about this blah blah it doesn't sound THAT bad I'm fine"

We need to talk about these topics and not just in a purely academic context. Because sure that's important, but I KNOW when we were a kid and were sat down in class to learn about this, we ignored it.

Which is fine but just AGH it's hard. This fic is my baby and I wanna talk about it but also I don't think there's anywhere on the internet at the moment which isn't going after people for even talking about this topic and it's EXHAUSTING.

I have seen the internet be EXTREMELY cruel to authors who write *anything* abt CSA or a character being groomed as a child etc especially if the story requires they linger on what's happening.
