Here is Vipoelo himself! I first heard him 27 april. My self made lego ramp and Tascam help me achieve getting his song :). He loved to go between this and someones apple tree in garden, so had to do multiple visits to get enough song.

Here is Vipoelo himself! I first heard him 27 april. My self made lego ramp and Tascam help me achieve getting his song :). He loved to go between this and someones apple tree in garden, so had to do multiple visits to get enough song.

Here I saw how Kibilo was sparkling. They do it always at the VERY beginning of the singing season and 2 weeks later not anymore! They stay still or walk like a raptor on the branch while going through their sound test. Its very interesting behavior! #Birds #Commonblackbird #FlackoWeasel

Kibilo alarm calling. They can alarm call for other BB too or when its their time to zz. That always means that this evening singing is over when its "duk duk" and "pit pit" time and have to retry next evening. Went visiting them for over 3 months. #FlackoWeasel #Birds #Commonblackbird

When You learn specific blackbird parts from individual bird and know where he is, you always know who is who. Some of his sparkles were also very distinctive, such as the "PisRIIdu" "Vi-dodo-Vi" Video 3 #birds #FlackoWeasel #Commonblackbird

I always knew where he was because of his song. Always at the edge of the graveyard. Thats how songs help to ID the birds, each bird has their own pattern. Video 2 #birds #CommonBlackbird #FlackoWeasel

But I sometimes cannot find the parts yet from icterine warbler song, cause they are also random! BirdNET tells me that "Dabuuta" is IW mimicry. Other time I add same sound variant and it gives totally different outcome. That's what confuses me.
