They have a different song from Goldcrest what asap made me realise its a different bird. Goldcrest has a "liidiri liidiri liidiri LIIDIRI RIU" song, but Firecrest has "Tsi tsitsiti TIITITITITITIRIU" Has no wavy jumpy feel and when i heard it I was like "wait, that sounds different"

I looove them aswell! So happy to hear you saw them! I usually spot goldcrest by the very tiny sound they do "siisiisiisisii". They rarely stay still, always jumping and fluttering :D. I always find them near pine and fir tree area
