Here is Vipoelo himself! I first heard him 27 april. My self made lego ramp and Tascam help me achieve getting his song :). He loved to go between this and someones apple tree in garden, so had to do multiple visits to get enough song.

Here I saw how Kibilo was sparkling. They do it always at the VERY beginning of the singing season and 2 weeks later not anymore! They stay still or walk like a raptor on the branch while going through their sound test. Its very interesting behavior! #Birds #Commonblackbird #FlackoWeasel

Another Kibilo video! I met him mostly every day + other blackbirds and kept eye on how my bird friends were doing. here I made lego ramp for my tascam and using long lego sticks to get Clippy em272 higher. It works like a charm

And another one! This time he was much lower on the branch. They can be tricky to record sometimes as i NEVER know when it decides to go elsehwere or alarm call off. It is usually constant following them and hoping it stays still while singing

Kibilo alarm calling. They can alarm call for other BB too or when its their time to zz. That always means that this evening singing is over when its "duk duk" and "pit pit" time and have to retry next evening. Went visiting them for over 3 months. #FlackoWeasel #Birds #Commonblackbird

When You learn specific blackbird parts from individual bird and know where he is, you always know who is who. Some of his sparkles were also very distinctive, such as the "PisRIIdu" "Vi-dodo-Vi" Video 3 #birds #FlackoWeasel #Commonblackbird
