People ask what they can do in this moment: here's a crucially important election. There are 52,000 elections taking place next month, many of which will be determined by turnout.
Dispatch from Pennsylvania on a highly unusual state Supreme Court election—one of the few most consequential matters on the ballot anywhere in the country next month. New from me in @boltsmag.org: boltsmag.org/pennsylvania...

@bera.house.gov the person you are honoring here hated people like me. It’s disgusting that you voted yes.
1. Today, 95 Democrats voted to "honor the legacy" of Charlie Kirk, calling him a "model for young Americans."

Kirk was notable for practicing anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-trans extremism, racism, and violent rhetoric.

Among the yes votes was Trans Rep. Sarah McBride.

As lame as democrats are and least they didn’t elect a silver spoon, billionaire, sex pest.

Will the guys credibly accused of being a sex pest shut the fuck up.

And that incompetence goes all the way down. In the first administration there were people in place to stop him from acting in his worst instincts (somewhat). Those guardrails are gone.
We have the dumbest possible American overseeing one of the most dangerous moments in American history. Heckuva job, MAGA.

Here is three straight minutes of Donald Trump saying things will be happening “in two weeks” (spoiler alert: none of them ever happened)
June 19, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Next two weeks are going to be very busy.

I’m sure we’ll get it just after he releases the health care plan.
Leavitt: “Regarding the ongoing situation in Iran…I have a message directly from the president, “Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks.”

I guess getting in a war with Iran is one way to get people to stop talking about your pathetic parade.

Tomorrow there'll be more of us.
No Kings Day was one of the largest days of protest in US history. From deep red small towns to our largest cities, millions of people turned out to make it clear that the American people will not bow to fascism. #NoKings

A US Senator forced to the ground. Because dangerous.
Senator Padilla cuffed on the ground for trying to ask Noem a question… 😳🇺🇸

Anyone paying attention the first time knew that this is where we were headed. That’s why we tried so hard to stop him from getting elected.
1. Jose Hermosillo is US citizen who was wrongly jailed in an immigration detention facility for 10 days

The administration says he "turned himself in" to the Border Patrol and told them he was a Mexican who crossed the border illegally.

I interviewed Hermosillo.

He says the government is lying.

I never bet money but, I would lay down cash that when these tariff negotiations are done, we’ll be back to the same rates we started at.
April 6, 2025 at 10:42 PM
The grift is strong with this one. We will spend billions of dollars to an outside entity to do what we were already doing.
Fuck that guy!
Um — Trump just turned over management of our 🇺🇸 strategic petroleum reserve to a mystery company, who will get $1.4 billion to run it? 🤔

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

This is what I’ve been most afraid of.
My fear is Trump is "putting people in place for when that fateful day arrives & the suggestion is made, as it was in the Oval Office, 'should we just shoot them in the legs,' ... my fear is there will be officers in the room who say sure, we will shoot them," retired Rear Adm. James McPherson said.
