Love Always Wins, but sometimes it takes a while.
If Atlanta is "built to lead", why are they team #17 instead of team #1?

Johnson is an idiot, if he were halfway intelligent he would not be in the giant mess he finds himself.

That was a Senate promise, not a promise by the House. Dems don't expect it to pass. They want Senators on record with a vote so they can bludgeon them during an election year.
November 10, 2025 at 8:33 PM
My point is that you were implying Mike Johnson was already going back on the GOP promise. He was not, because that promise had no House involvement.

There does not seem to be much appetite amongst any of the conservatives of SCOTUS to re litigate this issue, surprisingly. As you have said, if it does come to again it would have to be a far better argument than Kim Davis presented.
November 10, 2025 at 7:02 PM
That was never part of the deal.
November 10, 2025 at 6:56 PM
You do know they were promised a vote in the Senate. They were not promised a vote in the House. So this is not a breach of the agreement yet.

I cannot get over how the guy who gave Biden the nickname "Sleepy Joe" literally fell asleep in front of the whole world so he decided to double down.

Boo is right. Hopefully he can adjust defensively. It can be tough joining MLS mid year if you haven't been playing and training.

I am only hoping, I agree with you totally.

He said that his stretching that he would do during games was a habit that he picked up when he had a back injury when he was young, but it wasn't an ongoing problem. I think he wanted to go overseas. But he has done that. Now he can come home. 😂

Anyway, agree that Brekalo is not the answer at CB or LB. Seems like two positions we could use some help. Wish we could get Joao back at LB. He never got the credit he should have gotten back there.
November 7, 2025 at 8:08 PM
Agree on that. Marin was really just a replacement for Santos who was equally bad on defense. Marin, at least, helped the attack more. But I am not sure if Marin has another year or if he is out of contract.
November 7, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Marin was under $400k. And that is for full season so he probably got less than $200k. That is backup money in MLS.

Agree that Muriel is a negative. But there have been more hits than misses. Atuesta was definitely a positive.

Defense needs work.

An immensely talented player getting one camp while two friendlies are being played is not some gross violation of his rule. It is a rational thought process.
November 7, 2025 at 1:21 PM
I am generally a fan of your work. This comes across as really amazingly poor. There are always exceptions to every rule. A manager cannot be and should not be a robot. Players have to prove themselves at club. Poch has had a ton of players on camp. Lots of players out.
November 7, 2025 at 1:20 PM
But Marin cost basically nothing as a short term rental. And Pasalic and Atuesta were huge home runs. So, I guess I don't see the point. Not every signing works out. That is reality.

He does not have nearly this mich energy in real life anymore. And the qaving of the hands all over isn't something he does much of these days

Sorry, somehow these replies keep going to the wrong place. Not sure if BlueSky changed the app a bit but this has been happening to me a lot lately.

Logic would dictate that you *want* to tax vacation homes instead of the people that live there who will get rising taxes instead.

But what do I know?

MLS upholding rules. Amazing.
