This rule was just released yesterday.

Findings from our recent paper provides the first evidence on this.

It suggests that after repealing these subminimum wages, labor force participation actually rises at a population level

Facebook now deeming the Palestinian flag ‘graphic content’ in need of censoring. This is why everyone has been slowly migrating to sites like this one instead (apologies for the scribbles, top and bottom obscured on markup so was going in blind to cover names)

Precisely there is massive potential for coercive control. #Disability Rights UK is opposed to the legislation for sounds reasons. We #disabled people who have researched what’s happened elsewhere are speaking up for those who are unable to speak for themselves.
So many people who are in pain and whose brains or bodies don't work in a standard way are not enabled to live with choice and dignity, and in that context I cannot see how this legislation can be safe.

i’m so devastated by the lack of noise about the assisted dying bill from those without illness or disability and how thus we’ve sleepwalked into cleansing

Well fuck shit piss and wank. Disabled people are likely going to die because of this bill and I’m so tired of that. There is so much death in our lives as is.

I wish for a world where assisted death isn't controversial, where we don't fear being inadvertently killed off because at every level society acts against the disabled and ill. It's harder to accept assisted death when there's little done to assist people in life.

You lot aren't ready for this but the common attitude towards euthanising pets is super ableist too.

The idea that if your cat develops any disability it's instantly better to kill them than let them "suffer" 🤮

That is not compassion or dignity. It's ableism.
