It would be a lot more effective to design roads more intelligently. Narrower roads, more trees beside roads, etc. have all been shown to make people slow down. Fixating on punishing the worst of the worst won't affect most incidents, which are mistakes caused by poor traffic control design.

I don't think moral realism is necessary for there to be some (at least) species-level moral truths. I'm a mathematical anti-realist, too, but I wouldn't take anyone who doesn't believe in calculus seriously.

(2/2) concentrates economic power. Like monopsony power, this capital accumulation distorts markets, and it's only a matter of time until a solipsistic dumbass burns it down because they have no concept of consequences. Thus, ownership needs to be nerfed. (I personally favor codetermination)

I think a lot rides on information asymmetry and bargaining power. Markets work because economic calculations are distributed. Individuals can use info central planners don't even know they don't know. OTOH, bargaining needs to be preserved in order for markets to work. The corporate model (1/2)
