She wanted to run for senate. Trump wouldn’t let her. She knows she has no path to higher office through MAGA. She’s been getting popular with the left cause you’re all a bunch of fucking suckers. And she taking advantage of the moment to make a noisy step and gain more attention.

This. Auch dass ständig Missbrauch und Gewalt bis hin zu Vergewaltigung als "Sex" geframed wird, lässt mich Wände anschreien. Sekundär sehe ich eine gewisse handwerkliche Unfähigkeit bei Menschen, die berufl. Texte produzieren, was mich auch frustriert. Da werden dann Menschen vor Züge "geschubst".

"Focus less on identity" also just sounds like code for "throw trans people under the bus already" to me these days. So again, not about him being not queer enough, but about him being unwilling to stick up for people more marginalised than him.

Sometimes I am actually glad to live in a country where stuff like this would possibly lead to actual criminal charges. The German hate-speech (or 'incitement') law is rather narrow, and with reason, but it very probably would be applicable here.
