Who needs textures in Doom maps anyway? You can do a lot more with less.

All of the textures are flat colours, mostly yellow, brown, and orange on a starry sky and black ground. The scene is reminiscent of a pyramid or a temple hiding among the natural rocks and dunes. A screenshot of a Doom 2 Megawad DIY, MAP06: Not Very Cash Money, by me.

I'm currently playing through "Doom 2 in Rural Only" - a 33 map MegaWad made by various members of the Doom community.

Being someone who grew up on a farm, it really drew me in right away!

These were mostly made between 2008-2014, with a handful of later additions. It's a pretty sizable collection and I'm excited to see what people will do with them!
