Are you upgrading Very Good Analysis correctly? 🤔

If you use Dependabot, it updates pubspec.yaml but not analysis_options.yaml if you pinned a version.

Use the latest version instead, then Dependabot PRs are all you need (aside from fixing warnings/errors). 👍

Hey @labenz.dev I was watching the minesweeper observable Flutter and you mentioned disabling tooltips for the build show. I'd suggest looking into VS Code profiles. You can have specific settings and extensions for each of those (if you dislike project specific ones)

Posing with the architect of a genocide for sales leads is an insane and deeply immoral stance

these projects cannot separate themselves from the CEO of the company who funds them

Does anyone know how to make the new `.gradle.kts` extension files display syntax highlight/colouring? My VS Code refuses to have any colouring for these files, no matter what I do 🙃

We're locking down for the next stable release. We'd love to know if you find any show stoppers as soon as possible. Please file issue with the `flutter --version` info included.

I sometimes wish I could go back to deving without finding bugs in tools I use 😂

I'm glad I'm now confident enough to report them and help when I have the time though!

(Context: I've filed 17 issues since July 9th 😅)

Hey @labenz.dev, I was watching your streams -a bit behind on schedule but anyway 😅
You can use Ctrl/Command + . on VSCode to access so may refactorings for things you do by hand all the time.
Also, once you were struggling; there is a context menu option: "Go to Imports" which shows what you expect

Filed under breadcrumbs for future talks 😉:

I regularly take output from one LLM,

and feed it into 3 different LLMs for their feedback,

ultimately sending it all back to the original LLM for a final draft.

I call this process consulting my board of LLMs.

In record extensions, the analyzer wouldn't suggest the named fields unless you typed `this.`.

I've fixed it and now both completions and colouring WAI.

This will be out on Dart 3.9
